Transitional Bushcraft Course

Our Transitional Bushcraft Course offers you the opportunity to spend a few days of uninterrupted wilderness living hands on tutorial time in our expedition style base camp.  Here you will be taught the skills to lead your route through the world of bushcraft and survival. This is a step up from our Bedrock Bushcraft Course giving you a more in depth experience with more time to practice the different elements, which may include;
  • Camp craft & safety
  • Shelter building both natural and manmade with the opportunity to sleep out
  • Water finding/collection and purification
  • Backwoods cooking
  • Plant identification and uses
  • Bushcraft tool use, safety and maintenance
  • Animal track and sign and trailing animals
  • Fire lighting and maintenance techniques
  • Evaluating tinders 
  • Crafting with wood
  • Natural navigation
Time dependent and time of year, there may be off site visits to explore different habitats and their biodiversity.

This five day immersion into wilderness living could be your transition to taking up the study of bushcraft for the rest of your days.
You will be taught in detail the foundation skills required to let you begin your journey into nature and wilderness living! Fire, water, shelter, food, natural history, plants.
